Questions
Which format should a website use?
WOFF2: every current browser reads it and it is the smallest, usually 30% smaller than WOFF and half the size of TTF. The @font-face rule that comes with it is ready to paste into CSS.
Does conversion change the font?
No. Glyphs, hinting, kerning and OpenType features stay exactly as they were — only the packing changes. Check the licence: some fonts may not be converted or put on a website.
