Questions
Why convert a web font back?
Windows, macOS, Word and Figma install TTF and OTF, not WOFF2. Converted back, the font installs like any other — if its licence allows desktop use.
Does conversion change the font?
No. Glyphs, hinting, kerning and OpenType features stay exactly as they were — only the packing changes. Check the licence: some fonts may not be converted or put on a website.
Is anything uploaded?
No. It all happens in this tab.
